TIAR AD HOC MEETING March 30th, 2021

Attending: Barry, Roberta, Becky, Richard, John, Gaynelle, Neil and guest Todd Goddard

Our Topic and main discussion was communication to our members via our Web page and Face book page.

Neil is our gatekeeper and Todd is our expert and keeper of the Web. Todd suggested we have other names on the Web License. We suggested Neil and Barry at this time.

Our assignment is to review the web page and offer suggestions to update and streamline this page. Neil revised his review of our Web Page and offered a very comprehensive plan for updating our web Page. The annual fee for keeping the page open is $180 per year.

Gaynelle will contact James Fazio to investigate the possibility of having students contribute to our web page. John suggested calling the Catholic Diocese and other faith organizations to investigate other social justice groups that may be interested in contributing. He will also write a position paper. Our president also wrote a letter inviting our membership to become more involved and highlighted our mission.

We do have an issue of attendance at our Board meetings. I suggest we call all board members and remind them of our next meeting (April15th). Also it was suggested that we contact all members (I will get a list of paid members list from Becky) and invite them to our Zoom meeting. Neil can send letter to membership and the board asking all to respond to interest areas. I would like to advertise upcoming Climate events in April on our Face book page/or web home page. April has been designated as Climate awareness month and Earth day is 4/22/21. I will send information to all!

Our next communications Ad Hoc committee will meet April 27th 2021
